Our customer is a Nickel refinery.
The medium is water and chloride based slurry containing nickel and copper. Their ceramic ball valve has ceramic ball but body lined with PTFE not ceramic. The abrasive slurry wear down the PTFE lining and the ceramic ball is intact. So they need the full ceramic lined ball valves to solve their problem.
According to customer’s working condition, we supplied the ceramic ball valves as follows:
V-port Ball: Ceramic ZrO2
Seat: Ceramic 99% Al2O3
Lining: Ceramic 99% Al2O3
Stem: Titanium Gr2
Our customer has stock of pneumatic actuator, so we supplied our ceramic ball valves with ISO 5211 pad and adaptor for connection with their pneumatic actuator.
